Obituary of Erma Baker Watson

Erma Baker Watson age 76, of Tucson, Arizona passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, September 11th, 2023.  Erma was born October 17,1946 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Edith and Fred Baker. Erma graduated from M.C. Napier High School and worked for IBM until she retired in 1996.  After retirement Erma moved to Arizona and traveled the country enjoying the many adventures life offered.  She loved quilting and participated in many competitions as well as volunteered her time throughout the community.  Erma is survived by her beloved brother Lanie Baker, of Ten Miles, Tennessee; Stepsons Michael Watson and Jeffery Watson, of Sierra Vista, Arizona, Son Buck (Kristine) Seekings of Ashville, New York and three grandchildren Riley, Arianna, and Averie Seekings.  She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.  She was preceded in death by her Parents and her late husband Shelby Gene Watson whom she married on December 10, 1994, and who died on April 30, 2015; her sister Brenda Brownie and her brother Lewis Baker.

A celebration of life will be held on 12 January 2024 at Desert Sunset Funeral Home from 2-5 p.m.
